CleanSpot Child Safety Standards
CleanSpot is committed to protecting children. We have a zero-tolerance approach to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards explain how we keep our community safe and how anyone can report a concern.
Minimum age
CleanSpot is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create an account or use the service. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we remove it.
Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM
We strictly prohibit any content, conduct, or contact that sexually abuses, exploits, or endangers children — including CSAM, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and any sexualisation of minors. Violations result in immediate content removal, account termination, and reporting to the relevant authorities where required by law.
How to report a concern
Anyone can report content, an account, or behaviour that may harm a child:
- In the app: spots, comments, profiles, messages, and posts each have a Report and Block option. Choose Report and select the relevant reason — reports go directly to our moderation team.
- By email: contact contact@cleanspot.cc with details. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local law-enforcement or emergency services first.
How we handle reports
Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. Content that violates these standards is removed, and offending accounts are warned, suspended, or permanently banned depending on severity. We preserve relevant information and report apparent CSAM to the appropriate authorities — for example, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or local authorities — as required by law.
Legal compliance
CleanSpot complies with the applicable child-safety laws in the jurisdictions where it operates, including obligations to report child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities.
